I came up with this idea one night as I was sitting on the couch watching Netflix and eating a pint of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
All the cookie dough chunks seemed to be concentrated right in the middle so that’s where I kept scooping from. In the end I was left with a pint of ice cream that had a completely hollowed out center.

This would have been much more topical had I posted it back on August 10th for National S’mores Day but honestly, I can’t keep up with all these damn food holidays and didn’t even know about National S’mores Day until after the fact anyway.
The idea for these S’mores Shot Glasses came about solely because I had a bunch of marshmallows left after a failed attempt at making a Cookie Crisp ice cream cone.
Back in January I pre-ordered a flamethrower — or Not-a-Flamethrower as they later changed the name to so they could ship them more easily — from The Boring Company. Last month I was scrolling through Darren Rovell’s Instagram feed and came across a photo of some Cheetos-flavored ice cream that Big Gay Ice Cream was selling.
I dug the idea, but all they were doing was taking ice cream and sprinkling crushed up Cheetos on top of it. To me it seemed like a better way to do it would be to bread the ice cream in Cheetos and deep fry it.
