S’mores Bacon

If you like the sweet and salty combination of chocolate covered bacon or candied bacon then you’re probably going to want to make this S’mores Bacon!S'mores BaconI’m not normally a fan of sweets and I’ve always thought that chocolate covered bacon was a little overrated, so I’m not sure what led me to make this S’mores Bacon but I’m glad I did!

I started off by frying up some thick cut bacon and then brushed melted marshmallow over each of the bacon strips. After that I sprinkled crushed up graham crackers onto the marshmallows and drizzled melted Hershey’s chocolate bars over them.

The main thing I never liked about chocolate covered bacon is that it’s always served cold, which it obviously has to be so the chocolate can harden after the bacon is dipped in it, but this S’mores Bacon can be served immediately when it’s still warm or made in advance and served cold like chocolate covered bacon is.

If you wanted to you could even make the S’mores Bacon in advance and skip the final step until you’re ready to eat it and then just pop the bacon strips in the oven for a couple minutes, warm them back up and then drizzle them with melted chocolate.

I dipped my S’mores Bacon in even more chocolate, but that’s honestly not even necessary since it’s already great on its own!
