The Monopoly game is back at McDonald’s and I don’t know if I’m really lucky or if they’re just giving out a ton of free food as prizes this year because I can’t stop winning.
In fact, I’ve been winning so much food that to keep things interesting I’ve taken to combining the menu items to create my own sandwiches like this Breakfast Big Mac where I took a regular Big Mac and added a folded egg patty, a round egg patty, swapped out the middle bun for a McGriddles bun and drizzled it with syrup.
And. It. Was. Amazing. Definitely not something I’d eat on a regular basis just because I feel like that would definitely put me on the fast track to early heart disease (as if I’m not already on my way), but since it’s all about getting that sweet, sweet engagement in the food blogging world I obviously had to make it a little bit crazy.
If McDonald’s did offer a Breakfast Big Mac consisting of something like one burger patty, one egg patty and a McGriddles bun in the middle of a Big Mac bun though I’d definitely order one on at least a somewhat consistent basis. I sort of vaguely remember them doing a Breakfast Big Mac at some point for a limited time, but I never got a chance to try it. I can guarantee it wasn’t as awesome as this Breakfast Big Mac was though!
If you’d like to try to win enough free food and McDonald’s Rewards Points to make your own Breakfast Big Mac you better act fast because you’ve only got a little over a month left because Monopoly game officially ends on November 23rd! Most of the locations near me have already run out of game pieces on a lot of their food items though which is a bummer. I guess I’ll have to wait until next year to find that elusive Boardwalk game piece that I’ve been chasing after since I was a kid….
