Most people just view Sam’s Club as a place to go when you need to buy mayonnaise by the gallon or Boca Burgers by the case, but I see it as a place to get a great deal on lunch as well. Luckily for me there’s a Sam’s Club location about a mile from where I work, so I get the chance to eat lunch there quite frequently. Few other places would sell you a 1/4 pound hot dog or Polish sausage and a 64 ounce soda for $1.50, or two huge slices of pizza and a drink for $2.50, but Sam’s Club most certainly will!
Another plus when it comes to eating lunch at Sam’s Club is that they usually have free samples each day, so when you’re done with your lunch you can walk around the grocery area with your giant soda and eat even more food! I love it when I finish a couple pieces of pizza and then walk around only to find out that they’re also giving out free samples of pizza. That’s bonus pizza!
Funny side story: One time I called to cancel one of my Visa cards and they said they’d give me a $75 statement credit if I kept the account open. I kept the card and then decided to use that card to buy pizza and a soda from Sam’s Club each day for lunch until the $75 was gone, so for 30 days straight I ate lunch at Sam’s Club and still didn’t get sick of it. Maybe I should have gone with the $1.50 hot dog and soda combo and eaten there for 50 straight days instead…

September 1, 2014 at 1:27 pm (10 years ago)Best pizza in town! Rather than pay the outrageousness delivery charges to all the chains, my husband will drive the 3 miles to Sam’s in a blinding snowstorm for their pie. Their pies are 18 inch for 9.97 and super huge drinks are .97. We always tell them not to cut it and when we get it home we pop it in a 425 oven for a couple of minutes and it’s just like fresh out of the pizza oven. Pizza Hut charges $ 2.75 for delivery and the drivers don’t get any off that. So their ” special ” 7.99 pie turns into $13 or 14 with a tip. I always have a few things I need from Sam’s , so while the pizza is cooking, my husband picks up those items. Don’t get the take and bake pizza in the cold case at the cafe. It’s not the same crust and the crust is what makes this pizza excellent. We have never gotten a bad pie there and we have been buying them for almost ten years?
