Freezing Time 2 hours 30 minutes
Total Time 3 hours
Servings: 1
Course: Main Course
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 1 can (22.4 ounces) SpaghettiOs
  • 2 quarts oil for frying
  • 1 bag (8 ½ ounces) Flamin' Hot Cheetos crushed
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • cup milk
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • 1 slice Cheddar cheese
  • your choice of burger toppings I went with lettuce and tomato

Method

  1. Pour SpaghettiOs equally into two separate springform pans and freeze for 2 hours or until frozen through.
  2. Remove the springform pans from your freezer and pop out the frozen SpaghettiOs discs.
  3. Set up a dredging station with three bowls — flour in the first one, eggs and milk in the second one and crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos in the third one.
  4. Coat each SpaghettiOs disc in flour, submerge in egg wash and cover in crushed Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Repeat this step a second time if necessary and freeze for at least another 30 minutes.
  5. Form ground beef into a burger patty and grill for 5 minutes per side over medium heat or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Top your burger with a slice of Cheddar cheese during the last minute on the grill.
  6. Heat oil in deep fryer or heavy skillet to 375°F and fry Flamin’ Hot Cheetos breaded SpaghettiOs buns for 5 minutes or until no longer frozen.
  7. Assemble your burger by taking one SpaghettiOs bun and topping it with a burger patty and your choice of toppings — I went with lettuce and tomato — and finally a second SpaghettiOs bun.
