Pulled Pork Flatbreads Recipe

This grilled flatbread recipe combines pulled pork, red cabbage coleslaw, BBQ sauce and mozzarella cheese!

Ingredients
  

Pulled Pork
  • 1 pork shoulder approximately 3 lbs.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • cup BBQ seasoning
Coleslaw
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • cup lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 carrot grated
  • ½ red cabbage chopped
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped
Flatbreads
  • 6 flatbreads
  • 1 ½ pounds mozzarella cheese
  • 6 cups BBQ sauce

Method
 

Pulled Pork
  1. Season the entire pork shoulder with your choice of seasoning and place into slow cooker.
  2. Top with 1 cup BBQ sauce and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours or until pork shoulder can easily be shredded with a fork.
  3. Shred pork shoulder with a fork and stir to coat with sauce.
Coleslaw
  1. In a bowl whisk together ¼ cup orange juice, ⅛ cup lime juice, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and ½ teaspoon salt.
  2. Add cabbage, carrots and cilantro and toss to combine.
Flatbreads
  1. Top flatbreads with BBQ sauce, shredded mozzarella and pulled pork and grill over medium heat for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  2. Top with coleslaw, drizzle with more BBQ sauce if you'd like and enjoy!
