Heat oil in deep fryer or heavy skillet to 375°F.
Slice the block of cream cheese into 8 cubes.
Combine milk and eggs in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
Toss each cream cheese cube in panko breadcrumbs, dip in egg wash and then toss a second time in panko breadcrumbs.
Slice bacon strips in half and wrap them around breaded cream cheese balls. Secure with toothpicks.
Fry cream cheese bites for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and serve with grape jelly or your preferred dipping sauce.
