The San Francisco Burger
As much as I'd love to take the credit for creating this incredible burger, the honor actually goes to the Cheese & Burger Society, which is a website that honors Wisconsin cheese through various delicious burger recipes.
The San Francisco Burger features Wisconsin Fontina cheese atop a beef patty as well as sliced tomatoes, red onions, guacamole, bacon and lettuce all between two slices of sourdough bread. If you've been reading my blog for a while I know that you're probably used to seeing a few more pictures of the food I eat, but honestly, this burger was so good and I ate it so fast that I didn't even think about taking any more shots of it.
In addition to hooking me up with a free shirt (which you can see my dog Finn proudly sporting in one of the picture below) the Cheese & Burger Society also gave me some pretty sweet prizes to give to the readers of DudeFoods. I'd have to go with the Couch Potato, mainly just because I've never seen potato chips on a burger before.
Hmm...I'm goin to have to say #5 Big Ben, #18 The Pioneer, #28 Havanna or #30 Macho Nacho. Guess I will have to try them all 🙂
definitely #13 - The Roadhouse - caramelized onions, onion rings, AND a toasted onion roll? yes, please! Plus, it has bacon. everything is better with bacon. The gruyere and garlic mayo even throw in a bit of class. =p
Jalapenos, pepperoncini and spicy capicola. I'm sold on the Firehouse.
Number 11, the Firehouse, because of the havarti/capicola. The Kansas City would be a close second, BBQ potato chips on the burger. I do this all the time at my favorite burger joint on my Double one pound patty cheese burgers. I'm a tiny girl and Dominate that tasty potato chip cheese burger concoction.
The Denver looks amazing because whenever you can have breakfast and lunch in one meal thats a plus but I have to give a big thumbs up to the Rhinelander because well I live in Rhinelander Wisconsin!
Definitely the firehouse. Putting havarti on a burger like that will help put out the flame of all the spicy stuff.
Not gonna lie, #30 the macho nacho looks like everything I've ever wanted in life. I'm surprised I made it to the thirtieth burger, I spent about 5 minutes staring at each one going "Oh yeah, this is definitely the one...but just in case...*click!*" and of course, #30 caught my eye. Macho Nacho is all that needs to be said, my hands down favorite.
Give me a San Fransico now please..
I was disappointed not to see a Baltimore w/ crab dip on top, but of those listed it's gotta be the Kansas City.
I love burgers with pork BBQ on top.

I always thought the Big Ben looked pretty frickin outstanding. Blue cheese + pickled onions + bacon + balsamic mayo.
Also the Camelot because I love the way Patrick Warburton says "Camelot".
I'm going to have to go with the New Orleans since I'm going there next weekend! Also, you should not let Finn eat like you do...he's getting quite the roll around the neck in that t-shirt!
The Farmer John is the best on their site, hands down. It basically screams "Wisconsin" as well.
The Honky Tonk looks great, but the Highwayman made my mouth water!
The Seattle from the Cheeseburgers Across America group almost won, but I cannot tolerate mushrooms, especially if they are stuck up "Pinot Noir-Glazed Wild Foraged" mushrooms. I am going to have to go with #13 The Roadhouse. It has all the classic flavors that go so well with burgers (garlic, onions, bacon) and I LOVE gruyere.
The San Francisco looks damn good, I agree, but I think if I can only pick one, it would have to be the Denver. Eggs on a cheeseburger make it irresistible!

Gonna go with Chicago as my favorite if I have to pick one, but Atlanta and Kansas City are runners up.
I'd love to do one of these a day for however long it takes to try them all.
Holy cow, I have to say The Roadhouse looks the best to me (although The Boss was a close second)! YUM!
